I just came across an excellent Gizmo posting listing some great, free programs that might be helpful to all of us for computer maintenance. Check it out and see what I mean.

Also, I’d add to this list a super graphics editor (although strange name) :: http://www.irfanview.com/
I’ve used this free software for years and am always amazed at its simplicity yet super output for handling pics – (Gizmo’s choice on #6 graphic software leaves a lot to be desired :-), otherwise many of their choices are main-stream and ok, but certainly not the top of CNET and others, nevertheless, ok overall.)

Thanks for the reminder, Ron. Irfanview IS an excellent program. I use it myself although probably not as much as others that work so much more than I do with graphics.
